Exercise is considered important for many people, if not for everyone, as it has numerous benefits that we should be aware of, such as fighting bacteria and viruses inside the body or preventing them from multiplying quickly, as well as treating many psychological conditions, But is exercise practised at all times?

. The suitable time of day may differ for men and women, according to several American studies.

After many pieces of research and studies, it was revealed that women burn more body fat in the morning while exercising, whereas the evening period was found to be more beneficial for men’s heart health.

Researchers confirmed that these findings were tested on men and included in scientific studies.

The difference between the sexes may be due to variations in hormones, sleep cycles, or wake-up patterns, all of which play an important role.

The studies and research continued and included 30 men and 26 women, all of whom were healthy and active, aged between 25 and 55 years.

The study lasted 12 weeks and tracked the effects of a fitness programme that involved various exercises such as strength training, running, resistance, and endurance exercises.

They were divided into two groups: a morning group and an evening group, The morning group exercised for one hour before 8:00 am, while the evening group continued their workouts between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm Both groups were given the same meals so that the matter could be measured accurately.

Researchers tested blood pressure and body fat of all participants throughout the study period.

In addition, they assessed flexibility, strength, and the strength of the heart and lungs during the training period, both at the start and at the end.

At the end of the study, doctors noticed improvements in all participants over the 12 weeks, regardless of whether they exercised in the morning or evening.

A professor of health and human physiological sciences stated: “The best time to exercise is the one that suits your own daily schedule.

However, he did point out that there are differences in the most beneficial time depending on whether the exercise is performed by men or women.

Should I Exercise Early or Late?

Based on the research and studies, it was highlighted that women who are interested in reducing fat around the waist and lowering blood pressure should exercise in the morning, as noted by the doctor.
